Mr. Edwin Ortiz
Edwin Ortiz received his Master’s in Teaching Foreign Languages from Notre Dame of Maryland University after graduating from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. He has been an educator for five years and is currently serving as a Campus Minister at Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Edwin has spent time as an Assistant Football Coach and Assistant Swimming Coach. He is passionate about education and is focused on his service work with the homeless, American Indians and Haitians. He continues to empower his students to develop their sense of service and justice.
DR. kristin Witte
Dr. Kristin Witte directs domestic Catholic Educational Engagement for the international humanitarian aid organization, Catholic Relief Services. Dr. Witte has served in a variety of ministerial roles including assistant director of Campus Ministry at Loyola University in Maryland, coordinator of Pastoral Care for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, parish youth minister, and religion teacher at a Catholic school in Washington D.C. She has earned three master’s degrees, and she completed her Doctorate in Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from The Catholic University of America. Dr. Witte and her husband, Andy, reside in the Baltimore area with their daughter, Kyra Grace.
Mr. Stephen A. Fleischer
Mr. Stephen Fleischer received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Philosophy from Loyola University Maryland and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After having lived and worked extensively alongside the poor of Nairobi, Kenya’s slums, he founded The Fleischer Foundation. Mr. Fleischer sits on the Board of Directors and is responsible for giving the Board regular updates on the operations of the organization in Kenya.
