Abdiwelli is a member of the Class of 2021 at Tala High School and has big dreams of attending university to study medicine. He speaks three languages, Somali (his native language), Kiswahili, and English, and is currently studying Arabic.  Outside of school, Abdiwelli enjoys playing football, swimming, and hanging out with his six siblings

Alex is a member of the Class of 2021 at Mukoo Boys' High School.  At his school, Alex is involved in multiple societies including the Christian Union, Muslim Society, and Youth Catholic Society. His dream is to attend Massachusetts University where he wants to study Aeronautical Engineering. When he's not at school or participating in society events, Alex enjoys playing basketball, plaing football, and reading novels.


Phelix

Phelix is a member of the Class of 2021 at at Mbita High School.  His native language is Luo but he is also fluent in English and Kiswahili. Phelix's dream is to attending university to become a pilot and fly planes all over the world. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, and coming from a family with seven siblings, he always has someone to play with.

Damaris is a member of the Class of 2021 at Asumbi Girls’ High School who is working hard to achieve her dream to attend Oxford University to study medicine. Damaris has one younger brother and enjoys reading and drawing. She is also a member of the Debate Club.

Patience is a member of the Class of 2021 at Nangina Girls’ High School with plans to attend university and study aeronautical engineering. She also wants to do some acting part time. Patience is a member of the Debate Club, loves reading, and plays lawn tennis and table tennis.

Sutheys is a member of the Class of 2021 at Mururia High School. He has one brother, two sisters, and speaks three languages — English, Kiswahili, and Gurreh. He also enjoys playing football. When Sutheys is finished with high school, he plans to continue onto university to study engineering.
